Bossier Bearkats (Bossier City, LA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Parkway Panthers (Bossier City, LA), 69-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bossier upgrades its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Bearkats travel to Captain Shreve (Shreveport, LA) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Gators come into the bout with a record of 11-2. Captain Shreve won 52-16 in their recent non-league bout against Ringgold (Ringgold, LA)

In their next game, the Panthers meet the Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA) in a 5A District 1 match, on Tuesday, January 3. Parkway will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record.
