Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Crestview Cougars (Ashland, OH) and the visiting Buckeye Central Bucks (New Washington, OH), saw Crestview's basketball squad wallop Buckeye Central by a tally of 77-50.

With the victory, Crestview improves its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Mapleton (Ashland, OH) to play the Mounties in a Firelands challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Mounties come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Mapleton lost 68-61 in their recent league challenge against St. Paul (Norwalk, OH)

Next up, the Bucks play the Bucyrus Redmen (Bucyrus, OH) in a Northern 10 challenge, on Friday, December 30. Buckeye Central will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Redmen come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 71-63 non-league win over Ridgedale (Morral, OH).
