The Ranchview Wolves basketball team (Irving, TX), was nudged 60-58 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX)
The Elks now sport a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midlothian for a 5A Region I District 8 battle on Tuesday, January 3. Burleson will battle a Panthers team coming off a 56-51 non-league win over North Forney (Forney, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 17-3.
Next up, the Wolves clash with the Corsicana Tigers (Corsicana, TX) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Ranchview will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 3-16 record after their 59-47 non-league loss to Teague (Teague, TX).
