The Saugerties Sawyers basketball team (Saugerties, NY), was overwhelmed 75-42 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans (Burnt Hills, NY)

The Spartans now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Queensbury for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 29. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake will battle a Spartans team coming off a 47-33 non-league win over Averill Park (Averill Park, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 3-2.
