The Carbon Hill Bulldogs basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Danville Hawks to 29 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dora for a non-league contest on Monday, January 2. Carbon Hill will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 63-40 non-league loss to Prattville Christian Academy (Prattville, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-5.
The Hawks (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Falkville (Falkville, AL). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Falkville was outscored by Locust Fork (Locust Fork, AL), 70-46, in a non-league contest.
