The May River Sharks ran past the visiting Carvers Bay Bears basketball team by a final score of 51-32 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Sharks face the Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 29. May River will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Blue Eagles enter the game with a 6-6 record after their 65-39 non-league win over Greenville Hurricanes (Greenville, SC).
