The Concordia Academy Beacons basketball team (Roseville, MN), was nudged 58-51 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Melrose Dutchmen (Melrose, MN)
The Dutchmen now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Minnewaska Area for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 10. Melrose will battle a Lakers team coming off a 67-45 non-league win over Hope Academy (Minneapolis, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 1-6.
The Beacons (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against St. Agnes (St. Paul, MN). The Aggies come into the AA Section 4 battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, St. Agnes was nudged by Harding (St. Paul, MN), 71-69, in a non-league battle.
