Ohio High School Basketball - Mathews winner over Conneaut

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Mathews Mustangs (Vienna, OH) basketball squad felled the visiting Conneaut Spartans (Conneaut, OH), by a margin of 52-37.

The Mustangs (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against McKinley (Niles, OH). The Red Dragons go into the non-league outing with a 6-3 record. In their last outing, McKinley thwarted Memorial (Campbell, OH), 59-58, in a non-league outing.

The Spartans now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Trinity for a non-league outing on Friday, December 30. Conneaut will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 70-62 non-league win over Edgewood (Ashtabula, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 5-2.
