The Northern Guilford Nighthawks basketball team (Greensboro, NC), was nudged 54-49 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC)
The Chargers now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoggard for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 29. Cox Mill will battle a Vikings team coming off a 59-54 non-league loss to Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 9-3.
The Nighthawks (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Cowboys come into the 4A Conference 55 battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Southwest Guilford was nudged by Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC), 76-70, in a non-league battle.
