The Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV) basketball nipped the visiting Shasta Wolves (Redding, CA), 65-60 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Reno (Reno, NV). The Huskies go into the 5A Northern test with a 9-2 record.

The Wolves now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lowry for a non-league test on Thursday, December 29. Shasta will encounter a Buckaroos squad coming off a 63-36 non-league loss to Fernley (Fernley, NV). The Buckaroos record now stands at 5-5.
