Texas High School Basketball - Leander succumbs to Frisco

The Frisco Raccoons topped the host Leander Lions basketball team by a final score of 58-50 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Raccoons face the Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 game, on Tuesday, January 3. Frisco will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 4-9 record after their 85-44 non-league loss to Crandall (Crandall, TX).

With the defeat, Leander moves to 11-7 on the year. The Lions travel to Lovejoy (Lucas, TX) to face the Leopards in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 28. The Leopards enter the game with a record of 11-4. Lovejoy won 67-40 in their recent league game against Sherman (Sherman, TX)
