The Hamilton Hornets basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Manalapan Braves to 60 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hornets now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Matawan Regional for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Hamilton will meet a Huskies team coming off a 62-59 non-league win over Carteret (Carteret, NJ). The Huskies record now stands at 1-4.

The Braves (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Brothers Academy (Lincroft, NJ). The Colts enter the Shore A - North contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Christian Brothers Academy ran past Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ), 44-41, in a non-league contest.
