The McNair Academic Cougars ran past the host Hasbrouck Heights Aviators basketball team by a final score of 58-47 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Cougars confront the Clifton Mustangs (Clifton, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, January 7. McNair Academic will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
The Aviators (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Wallington (Wallington, NJ). The Panthers come into the North Jersey - Division 5 battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Wallington dropped by Emerson (Emerson, NJ), 68-33, in a non-league battle.
