In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Southwest EC Eagles (El Centro, CA), by a margin of 94-31.
The Highlanders (7-9) will now prepare for their outing against Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA). The Titans go into the non-league outing with a 9-3 record. In their last outing, Eastlake smashed Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA), 74-26, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Hilltop for a non-league outing on Friday, December 30.
