Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars (Hinckley, MN) and the visiting Marshall Hilltoppers (Duluth, MN), saw Hinckley-Finlayson's basketball squad hold off Marshall by a count of 68-65.

With the victory, Hinckley-Finlayson upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Rush City (Rush City, MN) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 3-2.

Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Cloquet Lumberjacks (Cloquet, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
