In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Iowa Colony Pioneers (Arcola, TX) basketball squad beat the host Milby Buffs (Houston, TX), by a margin of 58-44.
The Pioneers (17-1) will now prepare for their outing against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX). The Indians go into the non-league outing with a 16-5 record. In their last outing, Santa Fe defeated Kashmere (Houston, TX), 64-53, in a non-league outing.
The Buffs now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Lee for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 28. Milby will clash with a Ganders squad coming off a 71-46 league loss to Sterling (Baytown, TX). The Ganders record now stands at 8-6.
