The McCallum Knights (Austin, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX), 76-74 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Knights (8-9) will now prepare for their test against China Spring (China Spring, TX). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, China Spring got by Godley (Godley, TX), 45-40, in a non-league test.

The Broncos now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Marble Falls for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 28. Lake Belton will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 47-40 non-league win over Davenport (San Antonio, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-10.
