In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Summit Academy Knights (Herman, PA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Leechburg Blue Devils (Leechburg, PA), by a margin of 66-63.

The Knights (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Aquinas Academy (Gibsonia, PA). The Crusaders go into the WPIAL 1A 3 outing with a 9-0 record. In their last outing, Aquinas Academy got by Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA), 71-47, in a non-league outing.

The Blue Devils now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Apollo Ridge for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 29. Leechburg will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 63-45 non-league loss to River Valley (Blairsville, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-8.
