The Stanwood Spartans basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Lincoln Abes to 43 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Spartans now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kentwood for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Stanwood will meet a Conquerors team coming off a 66-60 non-league win over Lincoln (Tacoma, WA). The Conquerors record now stands at 3-3.

The Abes (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lakes (Lakewood, WA). The Lancers enter the 3A Pierce County contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Lakes ran past Franklin (Seattle, WA), 49-45, in a non-league contest.
