University Lab Cubs (Baton Rouge, LA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Live Oak Eagles (Watson, LA), 66-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, University Lab upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Cubs travel to Willow (New Orleans, LA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Willow lost 60-35 in their recent non-league bout against Walker (Walker, LA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Livonia Wildcats (Livonia, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. Live Oak will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 47-30 non-league loss to Port Allen (Port Allen, LA).
