Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) and the host Madison Memorial Spartans (Madison, WI), saw Lowndes's basketball squad knock off Madison Memorial by a count of 65-47.

With the victory, Lowndes upgrades its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Southridge (Miami, FL) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Southridge won 67-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Berkmar (Lilburn, GA)

Next up, the Spartans play the Verona Wildcats (Verona, WI) in a Big Eight challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Madison Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
