Orangefield Bobcats (Orangefield, TX) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Manor New Tech (Manor, TX), 61-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Orangefield upgrades its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Center (Center, TX) to play the Roughriders in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Roughriders come into the bout with a record of 14-3. Center won 48-41 in their recent non-league bout against London (Corpus Christi, TX)

Next up, the play the Austin Achieve Polar Bears (Austin, TX) in a 4A Region III District 22 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Manor New Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 16-5 season record. The Polar Bears come into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 73-51 non-league win over Chilton (Chilton, TX).
