In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Marlin Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 42-22 triumph over the Valley Mills Eagles.
In their next game, the Bulldogs meet the Hubbard Jaguars (Hubbard, TX) in a 2A Region III District 18 match, on Friday, December 30. Marlin will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Jaguars enter the match with a 12-4 record after their 73-36 non-league win over Trinidad (Trinidad, TX).
