Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Morgan Park Mustangs (Chicago, IL), 70-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Stevenson upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Patriots travel to Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Homewood-Flossmoor won 74-61 in their recent non-league bout against Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Rockford Auburn Knights (Rockford, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Morgan Park will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 74-61 non-league loss to Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL).
