The Navarro Vikings basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Village Tech Viper Squid to 64 in the Vikings non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Vikings now sport a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wimberley for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Navarro will battle a Texans team coming off a 75-48 league win over Bandera (Bandera, TX). The Texans record now stands at 12-4.

The Viper Squid (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Great Hearts Northern Oaks (San Antonio, TX). The Griffins come into the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Great Hearts Northern Oaks edged Great Hearts Monte Vista (San Antonio, TX), 65-39, in a league contest.
