North Carolina High School Basketball - Southern Guilford knocked off by Piedmont Classical

December 28, 2022: Browns Summit, NC 27214

The Piedmont Classical Bobcats basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Southern Guilford Storm to 53 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bobcats now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwest Guilford for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Piedmont Classical will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 76-50 non-league win over Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC). The Cowboys record now stands at 8-2.

The Storm (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Golden Eagles enter the 3A Conference 46 contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Ben L. Smith was defeated by Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC), 64-50, in a non-league contest.
