In Wednesday's non-league outing, the St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) basketball squad nipped the visiting Portales Rams (Portales, NM), by a margin of 72-66.
The Horsemen (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Belen (Belen, NM). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 3-9 record. In their last outing, Belen got by West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM), 61-59, in a non-league outing.
The Rams now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Moriarty for a non-league outing on Monday, January 2. Portales will clash with a Pintos squad coming off a 51-49 non-league win over Dulce (Dulce, NM). The Pintos record now stands at 4-5.
