Connecticut High School Basketball - Portland crushes Valley Regional

Portland Highlanders (Portland, CT) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT), 60-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Portland upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Middletown (Middletown, CT) to play the Blue Dragons in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Blue Dragons come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Middletown won 62-41 in their recent non-league bout against New Britain (New Britain, CT)

Next up, the Warriors play the New Britain Golden Hurricanes (New Britain, CT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Valley Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Golden Hurricanes come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 62-41 non-league loss to Middletown (Middletown, CT).
