In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Tyner Academy Rams basketball team scored a good 74-60 triumph over the Signal Mountain Eagles.
In their next game, the Rams face the Polk County Wildcats (Benton, TN) in a 2A District 4 match, on Tuesday, January 3. Tyner Academy will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 8-6 record after their 82-52 non-league loss to Franklin (Franklin, NC).
With the defeat, Signal Mountain moves to 8-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Howard Tech (Chattanooga, TN) to confront the Hustlin' Tigers in a non-league battle on Thursday, December 29. The Hustlin' Tigers come into the battle with a record of 1-9.
