The Sutton Sammies basketball team (Sutton, MA), was nudged 35-30 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Tantasqua Regional Warriors (Fiskdale, MA)
The Warriors now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nashoba Regional for a non-league battle on Friday, December 30. Tantasqua Regional will battle a Chieftains team coming off a 68-48 league win over Marlborough (Marlborough, MA). The Chieftains record now stands at 2-1.
The Sammies (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Whitinsville Christian (Whitinsville, MA). The Crusaders come into the Dual Valley battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Whitinsville Christian edged University Park (Worcester, MA), 57-50, in a non-league battle.
