In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Whitney Point Eagles (Whitney Point, NY) basketball squad beat the visiting Unatego Spartans (Otego, NY), by a margin of 58-42.

The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Dryden (Dryden, NY). The Lions go into the Section 4 Interscholastic - North Large outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Dryden was topped by Moravia (Moravia, NY), 69-40, in a non-league outing.

The Spartans now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Harpursville for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 29. Unatego will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 59-27 non-league loss to Chenango Valley (Binghamton, NY). The Hornets record now stands at 2-5.
