The Waynesburg Central Raiders basketball team (Waynesburg, PA), was overwhelmed 109-49 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Uniontown Red Raiders (Uniontown, PA)

The Red Raiders now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 29. Uniontown will confront a Rams team coming off a 62-51 non-league loss to Keyser (Keyser, WV). The Rams record now stands at 0-2.

The Raiders (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Yough (Herminie, PA). The Cougars come into the WPIAL 3A 4 battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Yough was overwhelmed by Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA), 56-54, in a non-league battle.
