Virginia High School Basketball - Whitman tops Western Branch

December 28, 2022: Chesapeake, VA 23321

Whitman Vikings (Bethesda, MD) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA), 67-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Whitman upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to St. Charles (Waldorf, MD) to play the in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The come into the bout with a record of 4-2. St. Charles won 71-44 in their recent non-league bout against Linganore (Frederick, MD)

Next up, the Bruins play the Woodbridge Vikings (Woodbridge, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Western Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
