Alleman Pioneers (Rock Island, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL), 50-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Alleman upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Peoria Notre Dame (Peoria, IL) to clash with the Irish in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Irish go into the bout with a record of 13-0. Peoria Notre Dame won 52-26 in their recent non-league bout against Glenwood (Chatham, IL)

Next up, the Raiders clash with the Olympia Spartans (Stanford, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. East Peoria will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 62-35 non-league loss to Annawan (Annawan, IL).
