The Beechwood Tigers (Fort Mitchell, KY) basketball felled the host Newport Wildcats (Newport, KY), 57-47 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Tigers (8-3) will now prepare for their test against St. Henry (Erlanger, KY). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, St. Henry was beaten by Blazer (Ashland, KY), 57-38, in a non-league test.
