Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Berwick Bulldogs (Berwick, PA), 32-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Greater Nanticoke Area upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Trojans host MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA) to play the in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The go into the bout with a record of 0-5. MMI Preparatory School lost 48-22 in their recent non-league bout against Shenandoah Valley (Shenandoah, PA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Dallas Mountaineers (Dallas, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Berwick will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 44-43 non-league loss to Loyalsock Township (Williamsport, PA).
