Tennessee High School Basketball - Briarcrest Christian can't hold off Walker

December 28, 2022: Eads, TN 38028

The Walker Wildcats basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Briarcrest Christian Saints to 56 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to LaGrange for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5. Walker will battle a Gators team coming off a 44-26 non-league win over Salmen (Slidell, LA). The Gators record now stands at 6-3.

The Saints (14-1) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary's Episcopal (Memphis, TN). The Turkeys enter the Division II-AA West contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, St. Mary's Episcopal nudged Lausanne Collegiate (Memphis, TN), 49-44, in a non-league contest.
