Cabrillo Conquistadores (Lompoc, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host North Monterey County Condors (Castroville, CA), 36-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cabrillo upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Conquistadores travel to Mercy (Burlingame, CA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Mercy won 72-46 in their recent non-league bout against Rancho San Juan (Salinas, CA)

Next up, the Condors play the Monterey Dores (Monterey, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. North Monterey County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Dores go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 38-36 non-league loss to Salinas (Salinas, CA).
