Caldera (Bend, OR) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Catlin Gabel Eagles (Portland, OR), 42-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Caldera upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The travel to Santiam (Mill City, OR) to clash with the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Santiam won 19-17 in their recent non-league challenge against Elkton (Elkton, OR)

Next up, the Eagles play the Westside Christian Eagles (Lake Oswego, OR) in a 3A Lewis & Clark challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Catlin Gabel will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
