The Carrollwood Day Patriots basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Lakewood Ranch Mustangs to 45 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Patriots now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lennard for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Carrollwood Day will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 68-27 non-league loss to Durant (Plant City, FL). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-7.
The Mustangs (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Plant City (Plant City, FL). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Plant City ran past NSU University (Fort Lauderdale, FL), 43-26, in a non-league contest.
