Michigan High School Basketball - Charlevoix overwhelmed by Negaunee

The Negaunee Miners basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Charlevoix Rayders to 21 in the Miners non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Miners now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boyne City for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Negaunee will battle a Ramblers team coming off a 43-36 non-league loss to Marquette (Marquette, MI). The Ramblers record now stands at 1-5.
The Rayders (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary Cathedral (Gaylord, MI). The Snowbirds come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, St. Mary Cathedral triumphed over Mancelona (Mancelona, MI), 53-12, in a league contest.
