The Cherokee Braves basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Rosman Tigers to 71 in the Braves non-league victory on Wednesday.

With the victory, Cherokee upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Braves host North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC) to play the Black Hawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Black Hawks come into the bout with a record of 5-5. North Buncombe lost 58-40 in their recent non-league bout against Rosman (Rosman, NC)

Next up, the Tigers play the Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Rosman will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 10-0 record after their 75-35 non-league win over Eastside (Coeburn, VA).
