The Seminole Ridge Hawks basketball team (Loxahatchee, FL), was nudged 52-50 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Cocke County Fighting Cocks (Newport, TN)
The Fighting Cocks now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jensen Beach for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 29. Cocke County will battle a Falcons team coming off a 71-50 non-league loss to Horizon (Winter Garden, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 8-2.
The Hawks (7-2) will now prepare for their bout against Oak Ridge (Orlando, FL). The Pioneers go into the non-league bout with a 8-5 record. In their last bout, Oak Ridge held off Viera (Viera, FL), 66-52, in a non-league bout.
