The Jarrell Cougars (Jarrell, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Coleman Bluecats (Coleman, TX), 44-25 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Cougars (16-6) will now prepare for their test against Nolan Catholic (Fort Worth, TX). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, Nolan Catholic notched a victory over Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX), 61-56, in a league test.
The Bluecats now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Big Spring for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 3. Coleman will encounter a Steers squad coming off a 38-22 non-league loss to Midland Classical Academy (Midland, TX). The Steers record now stands at 5-8.
