Texas High School Basketball - Groveton knocked off by Crockett

The Crockett Bulldogs basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Groveton Indians to 38 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coldspring-Oakhurst for a 3A Region III District 23 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Crockett will meet a Trojans team coming off a 45-44 non-league loss to Caney Creek (Conroe, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 7-9.

The Indians (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Buffalo (Buffalo, TX). The Bison enter the non-league contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Buffalo was outscored by Wolfe City (Wolfe City, TX), 46-29, in a non-league contest.
