In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Lake Creek Lions (Montgomery, TX), by a margin of 64-24.

The Mustangs (17-3) will now prepare for their outing against Bridgeland (Cypress, TX). The Bears go into the 6A Region II District 16 outing with a 9-15 record. In their last outing, Bridgeland was trounced by Tomball Memorial (Tomball, TX), 58-38, in a non-league outing.
