Alabama High School Basketball - Hillcrest holds off Deshler

December 28, 2022: Tuscaloosa, AL 35405

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Hillcrest Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL) and the visiting Deshler Tigers (Tuscumbia, AL), saw Hillcrest's basketball squad hold off Deshler by a tally of 60-58.

With the victory, Hillcrest improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Hoover (Hoover, AL) to confront the Buccaneers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 17-0. Hoover won 66-52 in their recent non-league challenge against River Ridge (Woodstock, GA)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Lauderdale County Tigers (Rogersville, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 30. Deshler will attempt to improve on its 12-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 79-35 non-league win over Brooks (Killen, AL).
