Dixie Flyers (St. George, UT) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Lathrop Malemutes (Fairbanks, AK), 46-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Dixie upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Flyers travel to Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 9-5. Segerstrom won 38-24 in their recent non-league bout against Basic (Henderson, NV)

Next up, the Malemutes play the Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas Falcons (Henderson, NV) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Lathrop will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 46-14 non-league loss to Sunny Hills (Fullerton, CA).
