Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Highland Regional Tartans (Blackwood, NJ) and the host Salem Rams (Salem, NJ), saw Highland Regional's basketball squad wallop Salem by a count of 54-33.

With the victory, Highland Regional upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Tartans travel to Delsea (Franklinville, NJ) to play the Crusaders in a Tri-County - Liberty challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 3-1.

Next up, the Rams play the Riverside Rams (Riverside, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 29. Salem will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Rams come into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 48-11 non-league loss to Cherry Hill West (Cherry Hill, NJ).
