The St. Charles North North Stars (St. Charles, IL) basketball nipped the host Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL), 39-38 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The North Stars (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Hampshire (Hampshire, IL). The Whip-Purs go into the non-league test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Hampshire was tipped by Maine South (Park Ridge, IL), 59-38, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Forest for a non-league test on Thursday, December 29. Hononegah will encounter a Scouts squad coming off a 52-48 non-league loss to Huntley (Huntley, IL). The Scouts record now stands at 12-4.
